Batter for Deep Frying

 

Blend or sift together:   1 cup flour

                                                  1 tsp baking powder

                                1 tsp salt

 

                   Combine:    2 beaten eggs

                                    2/3 cup milk

                                                                       1 tbsp vegetable oil or melted butter

 

Gradually add to dry ingredients stirring well.

Use this batter for coating chicken, fish, etc.

Before dipping in batter coat in flour first.
