Cheese Roll
2 cups grated sharp cheddar
cheese
8 oz softened cream cheese
1 tbsp finely chopped green
pepper
1 tbsp finely chopped red pepper
½ cup sliced hazelnuts, toasted
¼ tsp garlic powder
¼ tsp seasoned salt
1 tbsp paprika
Combine everything except
paprika in a medium size bowl.
Mix well. Form into roll about
1 ½ inches in diameter and
about 10 inches long.
Sprinkle paprika on a sheet of
waxed paper. Roll cheese roll
in paprika until completely
coated. Wrap in plastic wrap and
keep chilled. Let stand at room
temperature for 15 minutes
before slicing into thin slices
(about 40 slices).
