Boiled Frosting

(Brown)

1 cup brown sugar

2 tbsp cold water

1 egg white

Put brown sugar and water in a pot

Cook until liquid. Add beaten egg

White. Beat with mixer while pairing

Then beat for 7 minutes, spread

Immediately.

Boiled Frosting

(white)

1 egg white

¾ cup white sugar

1/3 cup corn syrup

2 tbsp water

¼ tsp cream of tartar

¼ tsp salt

Combine 2 egg whites, ¾ cups white sugar,

1/3 cup corn syrup, 2 tbsp water, ¼ tsp cream

of tartar and ¼ tsp salt. Cook, beating continuously

until peaks form. Remove from heat, add 1 tsp

vanilla, continue beating.
