Nana’s Chocolate Cake

½ cup cocoa in 1 cup hot water: Mix and let

cool.

½ cup shortening

1 tsp baking soda in 2 tsp hot water

1 ¼ cup white sugar

½ tsp baking powder

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp salt

2 eggs

1 ½ cups flour

Mix all together add cocoa in water last.

Bake at 350 F till done.
