Chocolate Chip Or Smarties Cookies

1 ½ cups shortening

1 ½ cups brown sugar

¾ cup white sugar

3 eggs

3 tsp vanilla

Cream well together.

Then add to mixture:

3 cup flour

1 ½ tsp baking soda

1 ½ tsp salt

Mix well together. Add 12 ounces chocolate chip or

smarties. Drop by spoonful on cookie sheet and bake

at 375 F for 8 to 12 minutes.
