Grandmas Fat Molasses Cookies

½ cup shortening

1 cup molasses

½ cup brown sugar

1 egg well beaten

¼ cup milk

½ tsp salt

2 tsp baking soda

3 ½ - 4 cups flour

Mix in order given. Make dough just stiff

enough to handle easily. Roll out quite thick.

Cut and bake in 375 F oven.
