Jewel Cookies

¾ cups flour

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp baking soda

Add: ½ cup brown sugar

½ tsp vanilla

1 egg

½ cup shortening

¾ cup oatmeal

If wanted put gumdrops on top.

Bake in oven at 350 F
