Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Pie

½ cup chocolate syrup

1/3 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

2 cups Rice Krispies

¼ cup sour cream

1 quart chocolate chip ice cream, softened

Grease a pie plate with butter.  Combine chocolate syrup and

chocolate chips in small microwave-safe bowl.  Melt on high

for 45 seconds.  Stir until smooth.  Save ¼ cup of mixture and

combine the rest with cereal in medium size bowl and mix to

coat cereal.  Press mixture over bottom and up sides of pie plate.

Freeze for 15 minutes.  Combine saved chocolate mixture and

sour cream and mix well.  Spread half of the ice cream in pie

plate and drizzle with half of the sour cream mixture.  Top with

remaining ice cream and drizzle with remaining sour cream

mixture.  Cover pie and freeze at least 1 hour before serving.
