Mississippi Mud Pie

2 cups water

4 squares unsweetened chocolate

2 cups sugar

½ cup butter

2 tsp instant coffee

2 eggs

2 cups flour

1 tsp baking soda

½ tsp salt

1 tsp vanilla

Boil the water and chocolate squares together until chocolate

melts. Add sugar, butter and coffee. Beat in eggs. Sift flour,

baking soda and salt together: add to mixture. Stir in vanilla

and bear well. Pour in 13 x 9 inch pan and bake at 250 F for

1 ¼ hours.
