Noodle Cheese Dream

2 cups noodles

2 medium onion, chopped

2 tbsp margarine

1 lb ground beef

1 tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

1/8 tsp marjoram or thyme

few grains oregano

1 can cream of celery soup

½ cup milk

1 cup grated cheese

2 eggs, well beaten

Cook noodles in salted, boiling water until nearly

done; rinse well, set aside. Brown onions in

margarine, add ground beef and seasoning. Fry

until meat loses color. Combine soup with milk,

stir well. In a casserole starting with noodles,

alternate layers with meat, topping each layer with

soup mixture, end with noodles. Sprinkle with grated

cheese, pour well beaten eggs on top. Bake at 350 F

for about 45 minutes or until top is crisp.
