Sirloin Casserole

 

1 lb sirloin steak, cut into thin strips

½ cup long grain white rice uncooked

10 oz can of condensed cream of mushroom soup

1 ¼ cups water

1 ½ cups sliced fresh mushroom (or 10 oz 284 ml, can, drained)

1/3 cup sliced celery

1 ¼ oz envelope of dry onion mushroom soup mix

 

 

 

Put steak strips into ungreased 2 quart (2 L) casserole. Sprinkle

rice over beef.

 

Mix remaining 5 ingredients in medium bowl. Pour over rice.

Cover. Bake in 350 F oven for about 1 ½ hours until steak strips

and rice are tender. Serves 4.
