In the action movie "Black Dog," Jack Crews (Patrick Swazye) is a former semi-truck driver with a driving history that haunts him. Against the wishes of his wife, Jack is persuaded to bring a well-paying load up to New Jersey from the South by his detestable boss, Red (Meat Loaf). What Jack doesn't realize is that this load contains more than just ordinary freight! Along with the load comes a rider, Earl (Randy Travis) and two additional guys for protection. Not trusting anyone except himself, Jack battles his way north against hijackers, local law enforcement, his past, and the FBI.
