Tim Mason (Skeet Ulrich) has stopped in to see his friend, Dr. Richard Long (David Paymer). Dr. Long is a Biologist that has recently developed a new biological weapon. When he finds Dr. Long dying, he discovers that a team of terrorists have shot him to get the weapon. He also is told where the weapon is hidden and that if it gets warmer than 50 degrees, it will be set off and kill thousands. Tim now takes on the responsibility of getting the weapon in the hands of the good guys before it goes off or the terrorists get it. Arlo (Cuba Gooding Jr.) happens to land in the wrong place at the wrong time when he pulls up with his ice cream truck and Tim sees a perfect way to transport the weapon. Now the two are on the run in a desperate trip cross-country to save the day.
