Jack Hammond (Charlie Sheen) is a petty thief and life long loser, who one day is framed and convicted for a murder he did not commit. Now serving a life sentence in prison, Hammond searches for any way to escape. His chance comes when he is able to break out of prison and carjack a young woman named Natalie Voss (Kristy Swanson). Jack takes her hostage as well and the two head furiously for Mexico. Natalie’s father, after not hearing from his daughter for sometime begins to think that something strange is going, and notifies the authorities. Eventually they identify her as Hammond’s hostage and begin a non-stop pursuit to recover the girl and put Hammond away for good.
