Darkness Falls is a film about a monster known as the Tooth Fairy, who can only exist in darkness, hunting people down in the town of Darkness Falls (hence the title). The story centers around a boy named Kyle who sees the Tooth Fairy, causing her to go into a murderous rage, kill his parents and hunt him down. He leaves the town of Darkness falls forever (or so he thinks). Fast forward 12 years and Kyle is an adult living in utter fear of the dark. He gets a call from his childhood sweetheart Caitlyn (Emma Caulfield) that her younger brother is experiencing the same night trauma that Kyle did. Kyle reluctantly returns to the town to save his girl and her brother. There's also some backstory on the Tooth Fairy, explaining her gruesome appearence and creepy porcelin mask.
