After being burned to a crisp in the first movie, the killer doll Chucky is back. To dispel negative publicity the Good Guys doll factory takes the charred remains of Chucky and gives it a new body. But the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray possessing the doll is also revived. Out to return to human form Chucky seeks again the only human body, Andy Barclay (Alex Vicent), he can possess. Andy, now a foster child, moves in with a new set of parents and tries to return to normal life. Body count raise as Chucky tracks the where about of Andy and in the ensuing chase.
