“Revenge of the Nerds” sees two lovable nerds, Gilbert Lowell (Anthony Edwards) and Lewis Skolnick (Robert Carradine) on their way to the first year of Adam’s College. When they arrive both friends are made the center of jokes and pranks from the jocks of Alpha Beta fraternity. This doesn’t improve their image. When the jocks accidentally burn down their own fraternity, they’re off to take over the nerd’s dormitory. In self-defense, the nerds form their own fraternity anywhere they can establish themselves. Making matters worse, Gilbert develops a uncontrolled crush on Betty Childes (Julia Montgomery) a popular sorority sister and girlfriend to the main jock, Stan Gable (Ted McGinley). But in a last ditch effort to make a difference and win affection and hearts of their fellow peers the nerds fight back the only way they know how by outsmarting the jocks.
