Orin Boyd (Steven Seagal) is a cop from Detroit who gets demoted after handling a big case. Although, he should be getting accolades for his work, he is sent to work in a drug unit instead. While he expects to be fighting crime out on the street, Orin soon learns that corruption from within, is more dangerous than ever. As part of the Drug Unit he teams up with a man (DMX) whom he learns to trust. They uncover a drug ring that involves many other department police officers. These officers are trying to complete a huge drug transaction, but Orin gets involved and it becomes a free for all fight fest. Thankfully, Orin is adept at karate and weaponry, which leads to him being victorious in just about every altercation.
