An anthology of three short stories based upon the works of horror author Stephen King. The first story concerns young girl (Drew Barrymore) is terrorized by a miniature demon living within the walls of her house. In the second story, a man (James Woods) enrolls in a course to give up smoking, only to find out that quitting is much more difficult and sinister than he ever imagined. The third section concerns a man (Robert Hays) forced by fate and events to walk completely around the thin ledge around his landlord's penthouse building to avoid being framed for another crime. The stories are tied together by a cat which witnesses the events.
