Casanova was a great lover of women, but this Casanova certainly isn't. A kidnapper and worse, he takes the women that catch his eye, locks them away and they never are found. Alex Cross (Morgan Freeman), a Washinton DC detective in search of his missing niece comes across the only person who has been able to free herself from Casanova's grasp. Kate McTiernan (Ashley Judd) is able to use her kickboxing skills to escape in a terrifying dash through the woods. Despite her terrifying experience, she finds inner strength and helps Detective Cross trackdown the kidnapper and find his niece before he can strike again.
