The Rugrats Movie is a feature film based upon the popular kids animated television series, The Rugrats. The film continues the ongoing struggle of small children Tommy (Elizabeth Daily), Chucky (Christine Cavanaugh), and the rest of the gang as they want to grow up and have their freedom. They get their wish, when on a family vacation they wonder off from their parents and get lost. As they journey to reunite with their parents, they learn that they must rely on each other if they want to make it home safely, with all the dangers that inhabit the world. They also learn the value of determination and practicality as they make their way home.
