Jake (Jonathan Taylor Thomas) is a trickster attending college in Los Angeles, California. His father offers him a bribe in the form of a classic Porsche, if he will come home to New York for Christmas. Jake will only get the car if he is at his parent’s house by 6:00 o’clock Christmas Eve. Before he is able to leave, Jake is kidnapped by a group of students he scammed and is left out in the desert penniless and dressed as Santa Claus. Jake must make is way to New York by any means if he hopes to get the car and to save his relationship with his girlfriend (Jessica Biel).
