Kurt Sloane (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is the brother of American kickboxing champion Eric (Dennis Alexio). Working with his brother in the ring is what Kurt does, until they travel to Bangkok so that Eric can fight Tong Po (Michel Qissi), the kickboxing champion of Thailand. Tong Po is much better than Eric, but Eric is too proud to admit it, and ends up paralyzed after a brutal beating by Tong Po. Kurt quickly becomes determined to avenge his brother's beating by taking on Tong Po, but first he must master the arts of Muy Thai at the hands of master Xian Chow (Dennis Chan). Kurt will stop at nothing to avenge his brother, even if he must fight Tong Po to the death.
