Craig (Ice Cube) and his pal Day-Day (Mike Epps) are looking forward to their first Christmas in their new home. The enjoyment does not last long as they are awoken by a burglar dressed in a Santa suit on Christmas Eve. After a failed attempt to catch the thief, they discover that all of the presents have been stolen together with money that was set aside for their overdue rent. Things are made worse when the police arrive to investigate the break in and end up confiscating the hapless duos secret pot stash. Not accustomed to doing an honest hard day’s work, they are forced to go down this route in order to earn some money to pay their way. Craig and Day-Day take jobs as security guards in a shopping mall and set out to catch the burglar who ‘robbed’ them of their Christmas, not forgetting their secret pot stash.
