After being kicked out of the NBA for his unruly antics, Jamal Jefferies (Miguel A. Nunez, Jr.) is at a loss for work, as all he knows is basketball. Out of desperation, he concocts a plan to join the women's basketball league (WUBA) by posing as a female, Juwanna Mann. Winning a seat on the team, he quickly discovers just how hard it is to be a woman when you are a man falling in love with a teammate, Michelle Langford (Vivica A. Fox). Getting what you want can mean losing everything you have. Jamal/Juwanna soon discovers which is more important to him.
